| 1985 | Mazzie and Fred Moses start Telecom Electric Supply Company, with only 1 computer, in a small 225 square foot office on Ave. G in Plano, Texas. They started as an inter-connect company selling small key telephone systems. |
| 1986 | After one year in business, Telecom Electric Suppply expanded their product line to include electrical supplies and accessories. This prompted a move to a bigger office. |
| 1987 | The first 2 outside salesmen were hired and they started doing business with Southwestern Bell and Levi-Strauss. |
| 1988 | Southwestern Bell awarded Telecom Electric Supply a contract worth $500,000. |
| 1989 | Black Enterprise Magazine does a feature article on Fred Moses and Telecom Electric Supply Company. Supplier of the Year awarded by the Minority Business Development Center - US Department of Commerce. |
| 1990 | Celebrated 5th anniversary. Some of the companies represented were JCPenney, Frito-Lay, Lone Star Gas, Texas Utilities and Southwestern Bell. Quest for success recipient, Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce. |
| 1991 | Sales figures hit the $2 million dollar mark. JCPenney awards Telecom Electric Supply the Supplier Development Award. |
| 1992 | Established a computer network and moved the headquarters into a multi-functional facility. Received the Dallas 100 Award from the CEO Institute. |
| 1993 | Implemented EDI (Electronic Data Information) and Texas Utilities was the first customer to use it. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority awards the Image Award. |
| 1994 | Telecom Electric Supply was awarded its first Texas Utilities Gold Star Supplier Award. |
| 1995 | 10th Anniversary Celebration. Sales hit the $4 million dollar mark. Awarded the North Texas Commission Mentoring Award. |
| 1996 | Received the Texas Utilities Partnership Award. Sales figures exceed $6 million dollars. |
| 1997 | The Texas League of Black Caucus awarded Telecom Electric Supply the Outstanding Texas Award. Received the Partnership Award from Cummins Utility Supply Company. |
| 1998 | Telecom Electric Supply was recognized with the Akinkanju Award and the KRLD Metroplex African-American History Making Award. |
| 1999 | Connected to the Internet and made e-mail available to each employee. Dallas/Ft. Worth Minority Business Development Council awarded Telecom Electric Supply the MBE Supplier of the Year Award. Received the 2nd Texas Utilities Gold Star Supplier Award. |
| 2000 | Celebrated 15th Anniversary and lauched TES.COM. |
