Urmston Grammar School

Urmston Grammar School is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Urmston, Manchester, and there are currently 970 pupils on its roll.

Urmston Grammar School is a selective school and it operates as an academy. It has an excellent local and national reputation. The governors and the leadership team pride themselves on running a highly successful grammar school. It was rated as "outstanding" in its most recent inspection.

The academy features in The Times’ Top 500 Schools, and its position there means it is regularly in the top 5% of schools nationally.
