Job overview

We seek a highly organised, and ideally, experienced, Exams Officer, to arrange and administer the school’s internal and external examinations in accordance with regulations and awarding body rules.  The salary is negotiable for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate.  However, we also welcome applications from inexperienced applicants with transferable skills, as full training would be provided.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of organising and administering the public examinations process in a

       school or college, or in a related role together with exceptional organisational skills

• A sound knowledge of SIMS

• Highly developed IT skills and meticulous attention to detail

It is a requirement that this post holder is available to work the week of GCSE results day every year (usually the third Thursday in August).

37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks (88.10% FTE).  (Hours are flexible to accommodate examination requirements).
