Inspire their remarkable with us

‘Pupils demonstrate exemplary attitudes to learning, to staff and to each other. Pupils show high levels of concentration, productivity and engagement. They enjoy working hard and trying their best.’ Ofsted 2019

Feversham Primary Academy is a very special learning environment that provides a happy, caring community where everyone is encouraged and supported to achieve their goals. Our children are keen to learn, are well behaved and want to achieve their best.

We are popular locally in our BD3 community and we are within commutable distance of Wakefield, Leeds and Keighley and close to the M1 and M62 motorways. Ofsted in April 2019 judged us to be ‘Outstanding’ in all areas across the school.

We now have an opportunity for a dedicated and committed support staff professional to join ‘Team Feversham’. You will support our teachers in supporting pupils and families. The successful candidate must hold English and Maths GCSE level  ‘C’ or above or equivalent.

Our staff have benefited from our collaborative work with our other AET ‘northern cluster’ of schools and we will challenge and support you with your career goals while you are part of the ‘Feversham Primary’ family.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.
  • Work with the SEND/NTE Team to improve the learning and progress of New to English pupils.
  • Work with our Achievement & Inclusion Team, New to English pupils and their families in order to improve attendance and punctuality, improve behaviour and progress and support families as and when required.

We can offer you:

  • A positive, community driven school where high staff morale and low staff turnover have contributed to the rapid improvements in attainment and progress.
  • Happy, enthusiastic and well behaved children
  • A leadership team who welcomes fresh ideas, and see the retention of staff as a high priority. Well supported teachers who are committed to driving high standards

We actively encourage candidates to contact us and learn about our amazing Academy!  Please call Rehana in the school office on 01274 721751.

We passionately believe that every child can discover their own remarkable life. It’s what motivates us around here. We know this vision requires something extra. Which is why at AET, you’ll find more. More opportunities, so you can forge your own path. More care and support, so you can prioritise what matters most. More purpose, for you and for the children we’re inspiring.

We offer:

  • More training and development, so you can get better at what you do - Varied and stretching continuous professional development opportunities.
  • More support for you and your loved ones - A health cash plan, employee loans and savings scheme, discounted gym membership and employee assistance programme.
  • More technology so you can make more impact - G Suite for Education embedded throughout. Collaborative cloud technology gives you access to the latest tools, when and where it suits you. More tech enabled classrooms mean less time spent on admin.
  • More reward - A generous and flexible Local Government Pension scheme for support staff.
