The College is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, high performing and enthusiastic individual to the permanent part-time post of Teacher of Psychology, who will lead and inspire students. This is a post to join a team of professionals in a growing subject area.

PSYCHOLOGY at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College

Psychology is a high performing department within our Outstanding College. The Psychology department is lively, dynamic and progressive in terms of its approaches to delivering teaching, learning and assessment. There is a wealth of experience and professional knowledge in a team which is both friendly and committed to pursuing academic success for each student.

You will have the drive and enthusiasm to provide a high quality and challenging learning experience for our students whilst also ensuring a supportive and encouraging environment.

Psychology is currently taught to A-level and follows the OCR specification. This includes compulsory topics: Research Methods, Core studies, Issues and Debates, Issues in Mental Health and optional topics: Child and Crime psychology.

This is an exciting time to join the department and an opportunity to help build upon the outstanding resources initiated by the team.
