  • If the role is L6-L10, providing you have a successful performance management you should move up until L10.

  • Is the pay for a Deputy Head the same in a primary school as it is in an infant school, or does it increase like a Headteacher?

  • How does a school choose where to put a deputy headteacher on the pay scale?
I have been a teacher for about 16 years, I have been an Inclusion manager for the last 4. I have been asked to be Acting Deputy headteacher from September this year. How much should I expect to be paid? We are a large primary school with nearly 400 pupils.
