Chinese New Year teaching resources

The Chinese New Year is a huge festival among Chinese communities across the world. Based on the lunar and solar calendars, the Chinese New Year falls on 8 February in 2016. The Chinese calendar is represented by one of the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac. 2016 is the Year of the Monkey. To help you celebrate the Chinese New Year with your pupils we’ve put together a collection of free teaching resources, shared by teachers, for teachers.
