Jamie's live TES cooking lesson for Food Revolution Day prize draw


To be eligible, you must register your class or school on www.tesconnect.com/jamieoliver from between 00.01am on 25th March 2014 and 11.59PM on 28th April 2014 GMT and be available to take 6 pupils to City Hall, London on 16 May 2014. This prize draw is open to UK schools only.

This prize draw is open to teachers, paraprofessionals and school support personnel of public and private schools and colleges, both active and retired. We reserve the right to verify that all winners are legitimate education professionals, and we reserve the right to select another winner if these conditions are not met.

The prize


5 schools will be picked at random to participate in Jamie Oliver’s live cooking lesson for Food Revolution Day at 2pm BST on the 16th May at City Hall, London. Each school can take up to 6 pupils. The winners will be cooking live with Jamie Oliver.

The 5 schools who register on www.tesconnect.com/jamieoliver will be picked at random and contacted by telephone and email on 29th April. If any winner does not respond within 1 day of prize notification, or is not able or available to accept the prize for any reason beyond the sponsor's reasonable control, the sponsor reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve winner, selected at the same time as the original winner in accordance with these Official Rules. If a winner does not respond, two additional draws will take place. If those alternate winners do not respond, the prize will be forfeited.

Each school can take up to 6 children to participate in the cooking lesson. Each school will be responsible for choosing the 6 pupils. Each child can bring an adult to observe should they choose.

TES Connect and Food Revolution Day are not responsible for any expenses associated with travel and sustenance on the day.

Winners will need to arrive at City Hall, London by 12:30pm on May 16th 2014. The day will finish at 3pm. Food Revolution Day will supply the winners with the full address details and itinerary for the day.

Every child in attendance will need to be cleared for film and photograph consent by parents.

Only the first registration counts as an entry.

By participating you agree to the requirements set out in all promotional materials and these General Terms and Conditions.

The competition may be promoted over several different websites simultaneously.

Not open to employees (or their immediate families) of TSL Education Ltd (“TSL”), its agencies or anyone else professionally associated with this promotion. TSL reserves the right to request proof of identity or to verify eligibility conditions and to award any prize to the winner in person.

Entries via agents or third parties or the use of multiple identities and email addresses are not permitted. TSL reserves the right to disqualify late, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted, lost, illegible or invalid entries.

To enter you must register or be registered with us. Your personal details supplied at registration will be used in accordance with TSL's current published Privacy Policy. We will not sell or share your personal details with any third party. Personal details will only be used for managing your subscription and related marketing purposes if you have consented to receive future marketing from TSL.

We require a response before awarding any prize and if no response is received within a reasonable period of time, TSL reserves the right to withdraw the prize entitlement and will award the prize to a substitute winner drawn at the same time as the first name(s) selected.

TSL has arranged this Promotion in good faith but, to the fullest extent allowed by law, accepts no responsibility for loss or damages as a result of anyone participating in the Promotion or any aspect of any prize awarded. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

TSL reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the promotion or extend or resume the entry period or disqualify any participant at any time without giving advance notice and will do so if it cannot be guaranteed that the promotion can be carried out fairly or correctly for technical, legal or other reasons or if TSL suspects that any person has been manipulating entries or the results or has acted unethically in any other way.

Email safety In the event that TSL wishes to contact you in connect with your entry we will do so via an email ending in 'tes.co.uk' or ‘tsleducation.com’ or by phone with a follow up e-mail. However, an email ending in 'tes.co.uk' or ‘tsleducation.com’ is not a guarantee that the email is authentic. Any email which appears to come from TSL but using a different ending (e.g. webmail accounts such as hotmail.com, yahoo.com, gmail.com etc) should be treated with suspicion and forwarded to Customer Service. Winners will be required to participate in reasonable related publicity without further payment or permission. TSL may publish the first name, surname and/or town/city. In the absence of participation, TSL reserves the right to withdraw the prize entitlement, without recompense and award the prize to the substitute.
