How do I find my subject area?

To get to the subject listing, select the relevant workplace under Teaching and Lecturing first. On the next page, you'll see the subject listing. Please note that your subject will only be listed if there are jobs available.

How do I find my region?

Once you have selected the relevant workplace (and subject), you'll then be able to narrow your search by region.

How do I save a job advertisement?

You can save job ads from your search results list. Click on the 'Save Job' link, see below for example.

Once you're within a job ad you can also save these details. You'll see the 'Save Job' link top left (see screen below).

How do I find my saved jobs?

To find your saved jobs, log in and click on ‘Jobs’ from the main menu followed by ‘My jobs’. You’ll see your saved jobs listed on this page.

How do I remove job ads from 'My Jobs'?

To remove job ads from your saved list, click on 'Jobs' from the main menu followed by 'My Jobs'. Next to each saved job in your list you'll see an x button (see screenshot below). Click on this button to remove a job from your list.

I clicked closing and some jobs have gone. Why?

When you sort jobs by closing date, we only show jobs that are closing within next 7 days. Jobs with longer closing dates will not appear in the list.

Can I see expired job ads?

Yes, you can retrieve expired job ads for six months as long as they were saved in your 'My Jobs' list before the expiry date.

How do I save a job search?

At the top of the search results page, you'll notice an option to 'Save search & Create Alert', click on this option to save a search.

How do I remove my saved searches?

To remove a saved search, log into your TES account and select 'Jobs' from the main menu and then choose 'My Jobs'. On this page, you'll see a list of all your saved searches and alerts, click on the x button next to the search you wish to remove (see screenshot below).

I've set up an email alert but I haven't received any email notifications from TES. Why?

If you haven't received any job alert emails there could be couple of reasons:

  1. Your search is very specific and our system has not been able to find any matching jobs. You may want to broaden out your search criteria
  2. Your email provider is flagging our job alerts emails as spam and delivering them to your spam folder. You may want to check your spam folder.
