After teaching MFL in London Secondary Schools and working as Subject Advisor for the New Secondary Curriculum for ALL, I now work as an MFL trainer and teach in the Primary sector as well as authoring and contributing to various online resource banks.

Since being a student in Durham I have taught languages across the age range, from Year 7 to adults. My greatest aim is to develop inquisitiveness about other cultures and to instill a love of languages in as many people as possible.

Originally a secondary French and German teacher, I have spent many years working in primary languages, as an outreach teacher in language colleges across the country, and then as a primary languages consultant, both at local and regional level.

I work as the International Dimension Development Manager for Nottingham City LA. Prior to this I worked in secondary schools in Nottinghamshire before becoming Head of Department in a Nottinghamshire school.

PLL and International coordinator, Whitehouse Common Primary. As well as being PLL and International coordinator at Whitehouse Common Primary School where I teach two days a week, I'm also an Apple Education Mentor, a language coach for Birmingham LA, an eTwinning ambassador and MFL Curriculum Associate for BGfL as well as consulting and speaking on PLL, creativity and technology for CILT, ALL and the BBC.
