Chris Tomkins


I am currently in my second year of teaching at a small village school in Gloucestershire. I teach Year 3 and 4 in the same class . Prior to doing a PGCE I studied digital film production which has had lots of transferable skills for the primary curriculum. I am a subject leader of Art and Geography, which I love!


Dominic Oakes


I am at present a Teacher, Tutor and Consultant based in North Wales. I have a thriving private practice and also run MAT Primary Maths sessions for local primary schools. My most recent school post was in Senior Management with responsibility for Assessment and Achievement.


Chris Talbot


I have worked in primary education for eleven years. I currently teach Year 5 students at a school in South Birmingham, where I am also a member of the Senior Leadership Team and Curriculum Manager for Mathematics and ICT.


Sam Collins


I am a classroom teacher with 17 years experience across the primary age range, working in Oxfordshire and Devon. I currently teach in Key Stage 2 in a school in Torbay and also enjoy the privilege of working with parents on our Family Learning courses.

I am a Year 5 teacher in Stockport near Manchester and have been a primary school teacher for 17 years, teaching Reception through to Year 6. I am interested in making Maths fun and enjoyable for children and am passionate about teachers sharing ideas and resources.


Nicole Paratore


I am a primary teacher from Sydney, Australia, and have been teaching for four years. I enjoy working collaboratively with other teachers, as well as integrating various forms of technology in the classroom. I am currently working on Kindergarten and am enjoying the ways in which even the youngest students can use technology in innovative ways.

I have worked in Kirklees since 2007. Prior to this I taught in Leeds, and through supply have taught every class from Reception upwards. I have always adored mathematics and I am currently in the second year of the Primary MaST course with Manchester Metropolitan University.


Liz Hall


I have taught in a large inner city Coventry school since 2009, spending that time working in Years 3 & 4. I previously worked as an engineer for a large car manufacturer. Becoming a teacher has enabled me to make a difference to lives and I really enjoy being creative by bouncing ideas off colleagues.

I currently teach Year 6 in a one form entry primary school close to the centre of Plymouth. I am subject leader for Maths and am in my first year of a MaST course with the Open University. I have responsibility for assessment across the school and am also an NQT and student mentor.


Martin Burrett


My teaching career began in Fuzhou, China, where I taught English as a second language and was a visiting lecturer at Fuzhou University. Since 2006, I have been teaching at a large primary school near Colchester in Essex. I am a devoted advocate for digital education and foreign language study.

I have 16 years teaching experience in primary schools in England, the last four as an AST. In 2009 I moved to Oulu, Finland, where I now teach grade 1 in an International School. I am interested in using ICT and especially interactive technologies to improve teaching and learning.


Richard Prowse


I am a Primary teacher in Sydney, Australia with an interest in developing innovative learning opportunities for children in classrooms. I have had a really rich teaching life and have taught all classes from Kindergarten to Year 6. At the moment I am involved in helping teachers to integrate technology in their classrooms.
