TES Pro Storage FAQs
How do I know how much storage I have used?
There is a pink bar at the top of the drawer, which shows you how much storage you've used.
Can I increase my storage space?
It is not currently possible to increase your storage space.

What type of files can I upload?
You can upload any type of files.
What is the maximum file size I can upload?
The maximum file size you can upload is 150mb.
Please remember that the speed at which a file is uploaded is dependent on the speed of your internet connection.
Why are my files taking so long to upload?
The speed at which a file is uploaded is dependent on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the file. A fast Internet connection will upload your files quicker than a slow connection, and a small file will upload quicker than a larger file.
How many files can I upload at one time?
You can add up to 20 files to your upload queue. The next file in the queue will automatically start to upload as soon as the previous file has finished.
How do I upload a file?
Just drag and drop the file you want to add into the box titled ‘Upload Files’ at the top of the storage panel. Alternately, you can click on the ‘Upload Files’ box and follow, your browser’s prompts to select a file to upload. To find out more click here.
How do I upload files to an existing folder?
Click on the folder icon to open the folder you want to add more files to and then drag and drop the files you want to add into the box titled ‘Upload files’. Alternatively, you can click on the ‘Upload files’ box and follow your browser’s prompts to select a file to upload
You cannot drag and drop your files directly into the open folder; you must use the ‘upload files’ box instead.
Can I remove files from the upload queue?
Yes, you will see a blue ‘X’ next to it, click this icon to remove the file from the upload queue.
How do I know when my file has uploaded?
When all of the files in your upload queue have finished uploading a notification message will pop down from the top of your drawer to inform you that your files have successfully uploaded.
You can only continue to upload files whilst your TES Pro drawer is open. If you choose to close the drawer when your files are still uploading a notification message will pop down from the top of your drawer, with the option to cancel the upload, or continue uploading and keep the drawer open.
Can I open a file without downloading it?
For now, you have to download the file first before you can open it. Click here to find out how to download your files.
How do I download a file or folder?
Select the files or folders you want to download and click the blue ‘Download’ button at the top of the panel. Alternately you can download a file by just clicking the file icon, but this is not applicable to folders. If you download multiple files at one time, these files will download as one zipped file.
If you cannot see the ‘Download’ button, just expand the width of the storage panel and the button will appear.
Can I add files to my storage from TES resources on the TES Connect website?
Yes. Click the ‘Add to TES Pro’ button at the top of any TES resource page, and the resources will be automatically added to your TES Pro storage.
You must be logged into TES to add files to your storage.
Do TES resources count towards my storage limit?
Yes. If you add a TES resource to your storage it will count towards your storage limit.
FILES AND FOLDERS
How do I open a folder?
To open a folder, simply click on the folder icon. This will refresh your storage area to show you the items inside that folder. If you want to go back to your main storage directory just click the pink filing box icon at the top of your storage area.
Be sure to click the actual folder icon to open a folder as if you click on the name or space around these, you will actually select the folder not open it.
Double clicking will not work.
How do I navigate between different folders?
The TES Pro storage area allows you to nest folders inside one another. Like most standard organisation structures, you can put one folder inside another folder up to 6 folders deep. Every time you open a new folder, the title of the previous folder will appear next to the pink filing box icon in a row called the crumbtrail. If you want to go back to one of the folders you already opened you can simply click on it’s title in the crumbtrail, and your storage area will refresh to show you the items inside the folder you chose.
How do I create a new folder?
Make sure you have nothing selected in your storage area, then click on the box titled 'New Folder' at the top of the storage panel and a new folder will appear. Just type in a name for your folder and press enter.
How do I create a sub-folder?
To create a sub-folder open the folder you wish the new folder to go inside. Then simply click on the box titled 'New Folder' at the top of the storage panel and a new folder will appear inside this folder. Just type in a name for your folder and press enter.
How do I delete a file or folder?
Select the file or folder you wish to delete and click on the blue 'Delete' button at the top of the panel. A notification message will pop down from the top of your drawer to check that you want to delete the file or folder you have selected. This message will notify you if any of the files you want to delete are located in a binder, from which they will be removed. Just click the blue ‘Yes’ button in the notification box and your files will be deleted.
If you cannot see the ‘Delete’ button, just expand the width of the storage panel and the button will appear.
Please note that if you delete a folder, it will automatically delete the entire contents of the folder.
How do I rename a file or folder?
Simply select the file or folder you want to rename and click on the blue 'Rename' button at the top of the panel. Then just type in your new name and press enter.
If you cannot see the ‘Rename’ button, just expand the width of the storage panel and the button will appear.
Can I sort files and folders into any order?
You can sort files and folders by name, date and format, you can also sort individual files by size. Simply use the filters on the right at the top of the panel to sort your content.
If you cannot see the filter options, just expand the width of the storage panel and the filters will appear.

How do I see the blue action buttons after I have selected a file or folder?
Just expand the width of the storage panel by clicking on the title of the panel.
In some cases you are required to complete a task by clicking the blue ‘close’ button in another panel before you can fully expand the storage panel.
How do I move files into a folder within my storage?
Select the files you wish to move, then drag and drop them to the desired folder.
How do I move files or folders into a different folder within my storage?
Select the folder you want to move and click the blue ‘move’ button at the top of your storage panel. You can now view all the folders in your storage area. To see a folder nested inside another folder, just click the plus symbol on the folder icon. When you’ve found the folder you want to move your files into just select it by clicking the folders name. A notification message will pop down from the top of your drawer to check you want to move your files into the selected folder. just click the blue ‘Yes’ button in the notification box and your files will be moved.
If you cannot see the ‘move’ button, just expand the width of the storage panel and the button will appear.
