The TES Schools Awards - Healthy Eating Award

The Times Educational Supplement has launched its first ever Schools Awards for England and Wales. Celebrate the successes of your colleagues, stakeholders, suppliers and pupils by entering The TES Schools Awards.

Healthy Eating Award

This award is aimed at rewarding the school that is delivering the healthiest school meals. In your entry you must explain the sort of menus you offer, and what makes them distinctive, attractive, and healthy to the children. What percentage of your children currently eat school dinners? Has this gone up in recent years? Briefly describe the provenance of your food, and outline your catering and dining facilities. And please provide as much independent evidence as you can to support your entry - e.g. testimonials from children, parents groups or other bodies that will testify to the quality of the meals you serve. The judges will also be keen to hear from school's that have teamed up with food suppliers, caterers or other organisations to help improve the quality of the meals they provide. Entries are welcome from schools themselves, or the partner organisations they have worked with.
