I am a primary EBD teacher, working in a special school, who enjoys using ICT to support and inspire learning (especially iPod touch devices). I am always looking for new ways to improve my teaching and I am an Apple Distinguished Educator.
After playing trumpet professionally for 6 years, I began teaching, then completed a MA in SEN, while researching the use of Multisensory Multimedia Environments with pupils with MLD/SLD and PMLD. After a period of teaching primary SEN, I now teach pupils with Dyslexia/SpLD whilst continuing my research.
I am an independent special needs ICT and assistive technology consultant involved in the education of children with severe and complex needs. I was formerly Consultancy and Training Manager at Inclusive Technology, leading a team of teachers and therapists providing services to schools in the use of assistive technology.
I am an Advisory Teacher for North Tyneside LA specialising in ICT and SEN. I have taught, and had senior management responsibility in mainstream secondary and special schools. My current post allows me to work both within schools and in business partnerships with companies who develop inclusive products and services.

I am a primary school teacher with class teaching experience from Nursery to Year 3. I have also taught after school maths booster groups for Years 4, 5 and 6. My main interest with regards to SEN is dyscalculia, which could be described as the maths form of dyslexia. I am in my 12th year of teaching.

I am a long time TES contributor. I am currently working as an Early Years Area Special Educational Needs Coordinator. My role is to support settings to meet the needs of all children SEN. I offer generalised support on inclusive strategies and provision and deliver bespoke staff training in SEN.
I work as Post-16 Teacher in a special secondary school, predominantly teaching a Life Skills curriculum to SLD, MLD and ASC learners. The purpose of this curriculum is to prepare learners to develop their communication, social, life and vocational skills to take an active role in the community.
