About Chantel Mathias
Chantel Mathias is subject adviser for secondary English on TES. She spent 10 years as a teacher of English and drama at an 11-18 comprehensive. During this time she developed one of the UK's most successful teaching resource websites for secondary English. For the past two years, she has worked at TES creating and developing content for TES English. She says she is committed to supporting teaching and learning in her area and will be highlighting teachers' ideas and concerns plus, of course, their "splendiferous resources". Chantel herself has shared more than 1,600 resources which have been downloaded 2.1 million times. She says: "I update this page every Monday, showcasing our weekly "Star Contributor", and the best of the thousands of wonderful resources that are available on the TES website for secondary English".
