Additional Learning Needs Teacher
St Michales Grammar School in St Kilda
Part time, ongoing role
We are looking for a committed, innovative and collaborative Additional Learning Needs Teacher to join the Junior School team to cater for students with additional learning needs. This position will design, develop and coordinate a wide range of tailored programs to meet individual needs, both within the classroom, in small group situations and with individual students.
The successful applicant:
- Will have relevant and demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Will have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with both children and adults
- Has high level communication skills
- Can work unsupervised and as part of a collaborative team
- Possesses sound judgment and a calm and mature disposition
- This is a part time position commencing in January 2014.
