- Teachers demonstrate and discuss their most inspirational lessons in this collection of videos for KS2 Science. Covering a variety of Science topics, they give tips and advice for delivering the lessons yourself.
- Pupils first learn of instructions in list formats, such as personal reminders and simple planning notes, and soon move onto writing their own instructions for everyday activities and processes. Instructional writing uses the second person, imperative mood (or ‘bossy verbs’) and often employs time connectives, such as ‘first’, ‘next’, ‘finally’. The correct order of instructions is vital, so sequencing activities are widely used. Our contributors have uploaded detailed planning and sets of instructions for a huge amount of subjects, from making a jam sandwich to putting up a tent…
- Experiencing friendships and developing an understanding of their meaning is crucial to children and young people’s sense of security and inclusion both in school and at home. TES resources has plenty of material to support learning and development in this area, as shared by the teaching community. Topics covered in our collection include respecting difference and diversity, bullying and developing confidence and responsibility.
- Team games require more than knowledge of the rules and a willingness to join in: these resources introduce the individual skills needed, such as catching, throwing, aiming and playing as a team. Also included are plans for invasion and team games. Invaluable - particularly for the non-PE-specialists amongst us!
