Primary resources collections featured in the TES magazine:Friday 27th May 2011
- Mairi Hedderwick’s books, set on the fictional Isle of Struay, are inspiring lessons across the curriculum. As well as fantastic resources for island topics in Geography, we’ve sneaked in some word work, reading comprehension, maths and even a little bit of Science!
- Julia Donaldson’s stories are consistent favourites among children, parents and teachers. Her delightful rhymes and repetition engage and entertain readers of many ages. Our contributors have certainly been inspired by her books and have shared some truly great resources and creative planning ideas.
- These counting and understanding number activities help to reinforce comparing and ordering numbers by using number lines, practising place value and making comparisons between numbers of both high and low value.
