St Margaret’s has a strong sporting program with an outstanding record of success.  In the Primary School, St Margaret’s is a member of Andrew’s Cup and the Brisbane Netball Association, which allows competition in the following sports; Artistic Gymnastics, Athletics, Cross Country, Netball, Tennis, Touch Football, Softball and Swimming.


We currently have a vacancy available commencing in January 2014 in the role of Coordinator Primary Sports and Activities.  This vacancy exists to replace a staff member on maternity leave and therefore the role will be offered on a fixed term contract.


The Coordinator Primary Sport and Activities provides support in administering, coordinating and supervising the operation of the Primary Sports and Activities Program.


The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Human Movement or similar as well as experience in administrating and coordinating a significant sporting, activities or recreation program. Skills in coaching swimming and/or netball would be a distinct advantage.


As many of the activities this role coordinates are outside of school hours it is expected the successful candidate will maintain flexibility with working hours, this may include early starts, working after school hours or on week-ends.  This is a full-time role requiring work during school holiday periods.
