Melbourne Girls Grammar in Victoria

“….little girls who dream become women of vision”

Full Time, 5 Year Tenure

Commencing Term 1, 2014

After 19 years of exceptional service to our School, Ms Joanne McKenzie leaves her position as Director of Early Learners to pursue a new career path.

Melbourne Girls Grammar is now seeking an inspirational and visionary educator to embrace this role and to lead our Early Learning Program at the Barbara Tolson Centre. We aspire to develop ethical women of action through high quality educational opportunities and environments.  This begins in our Early Learning Centre, a joyful and inviting learning environment for three and four year old girls in five flexible learning spaces.

Working closely with the Principal, the Director of Early Learners has a key strategic role to develop exemplary programs, within our Early Learning Centre, to create a respectful, imaginative and thought provoking environment for children, parents and staff.  As an Early Childhood trained teacher who is passionate about learning alongside young children, candidates are expected to inspire and lead ongoing professional development that will perpetuate ongoing, positive growth within the Melbourne Girls Grammar community.

The successful applicant must be eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and must hold a current Police Check or be in the process of obtaining one, in order to work at Melbourne Girls Grammar. If you are a proactive and highly skilled professional who is motivated by the challenges and possibilities of this role we would welcome your application.
