Keilor and Taylors Lakes Campuses

Primary purpose

A drum teacher is required for one day per week. We are seeking a drum teacher with experience working with beginners to intermediate level students and, importantly, the ability to establish strong fundamental skills in young musicians. This is a generalist role, which requires an ability to instruct in different drum and percussion styles as well as enjoyment in working with students with different learning preferences. There is strong potential for this program to grow rapidly for the right person with energy and motivation. This is a great opportunity to join an enthusiastic and dedicated team in a very supportive school environment.

Formal music qualifications will be highly regarded, but a teaching qualification is not essential. Involvement in leading College ensembles is encouraged and remunerated (subject to approval by the Head of Encore: Instrumental Music).

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
