About the Role

 

Reporting to the CEO, the position provides leadership and management for all aspects of HR. Ensuring management and staffs are supported through policies, procedures and systems, that optimise performance and enable achievement of mission, strategic and operational objectives. 

 

As a member of the Executive Team the role will participate in strategic development ensuring strong alignment of culture with strategic goals and provision of effective HR functions including, Performance Management, Remuneration, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Payroll Processing, Industrial Relations and Workplace Health and Safety.

 

This is a full time position, based at Carinity’s Head Office in Gaythorne. Approximately 15 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD.

To be successful in this role, the following criteria should be met:

 

  • Ability to work within the Christian ethos and framework of Carinity
  • Post Graduate or Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or similar relevant discipline is essential
  • Minimum of five years recent experience in a senior management role within Human Resources, preferably within the Health/Aged Care industry or not-for-profit environment
  • Significant experience in a role encompassing HR project Management, development and implementation of strategic HR plans and ability toapply best practice HR management processes is highly desirable
  • Highly advanced practical and theoretical knowledge of all human resource functions
