Newington College is a boys’ school of the Uniting Church, founded in 1863 and a member of the A.A.G.P.S of NSW. There are approximately 1900 boys across three campuses, with around 1250 boys at the Secondary School at Stanmore, including 50 boarders. There are 480 boys at Wyvern House Preparatory School at Stanmore and 151 boys at Lindfield Preparatory School. Stanmore is in the inner-western suburbs of Sydney, Australia, about 3km from the University of Sydney and 6km from the central business district of Sydney. It is served by a railway station approximately 300m from the main gates of the College.
