The Service

We offer three and four year old kindergarten programs with great facilities, a warm and friendly environment and experienced and nurturing educators. We are conveniently located in the heart of Sydenham’s community, within the community centre precinct on Community Hub.

 

We offer a play-based leaning program. Our curriculum embraces the Early Years Learning Framework and is based around children’s strengths and interests. Our learning programs are flexible and adaptable to change based on the children’s ideas. This allows the children to determine the nature and direction of their learning experience. We believe that this kind of environment inspires individual creativity, expression and resourcefulness, stimulating children to reach their potential.

 

The Position

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic qualified Kindergarten Teacher to take on teaching responsibilities for 2 x 4 year old groups. This is a Full Time role working Monday – Friday with 25 contact hours and 12.5 non contact hours.

 

This position is paid under the VECTAA award.

 

To be successful in this role you need to possess the appropriate Early Childhood teaching qualification and be able to demonstrate your experience as a Kindergarten Teacher.

  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • Anaphylaxis Certificate
  • Asthma Training
  • Current working with Children’s check
  • The right to work in Australia
