Description

Applications are invited for 3 Leaders of Learning Pastoral Care (Year Group) positions. The successful applicants must be able to demonstrate the potential to lead a team of Learning Advisors and facilitate quality teaching and learning across the year group. Direct and oversee student well-being pastoral care and student management including the promoting of an environment of academic excellence. Applications will only be accepted from applicants who are qualified to teach within one or a combination of the following key learning areas:-

 

1.         Mathematics

2.         PDHPE

3.         Religious Education and Society and Culture.

 

Criteria

These 3 positions require someone with innovative and creative practices focusing on the development of the whole person within a Catholic environment; a thorough and proven understanding of young people.

 

St Andrews invites teachers with sound pedagogical knowledge; rich understanding of the subject; creative and innovative approach to learning with strong ICT skills; and a deep appreciation of young people.

 

Please include 3 referees in your resume and advise which key learning area you are qualified to teach.
