Description

The College has a vacancy for a Client Services Officer to work part-time, two days each week (Thursday and Friday), during the College term. This is a Level 3, continuing school officer position, commencing July 2013.

The position provides support for the teaching and learning programs of the College, provides clerical and technical supportfor the acquisition, circulation and maintenance of resources, and ensures that the digital and physical environment of the library is maintained.

 

Criteria

The ideal applicant will have:

 

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Library transaction skills at an advanced level

- Demonstrated capacity to navigate on digital platforms, and data entry and word processing skills at ahigh level

- Administrative and clerical skills at a high level

- Thorough knowledge of Softlink OLIVER.

- Knowledge of library digital environments, Copyright regulations and the referencing and bibliographic requirements of APA

- Advanced cataloguing skills.

Applicants should hold, or be eligible to hold a Blue Card issued by the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian.
