Program Administrator – Sydney Inner SCAN


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Program Administrator to provide support and administration to the SCAN team in Mascot.



The role

In this role, you will support a team of dedicated Educators who work with external services to support and include children with additional needs. You will support the daily functions of the program in areas such as meeting arranging, receiving and redirecting telephone calls, developing and maintaining systems as well as monitoring and reporting on funding.

This is a full-time position and is on a fixed term contract until 20th December 2013.



The Program

The SCAN (Supporting Children with Additional Needs) program is designed to boost the capacity of eligible services to include children with additional needs. Within this program, SCAN Educators provide support and resource to eligible services. SCAN targets children with challenging behaviour, delayed development, or diagnosed disabilities, severe chronic health conditions or moderate to severe language delays. It is a NSW Department of Education & Communities funded program.




You will have:

- Previous administrative experience ideally from a not-for-profit environment.

- Excellent customer service attitude and skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a range of key stakeholders

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task

- Adaptability, flexibility and resilient,  with the ability to respond positively to change

- Effective relationship building / interpersonal skills
