Resource sharers explain why rating and reviewing is important
If you download teaching resources that have been shared on TES, then rating and reviewing them is your chance to say ‘thank you’ to the people who created them.
We rely upon our contributors to create and share their teaching resources on our site. One of the things that really motivates our contributors is knowing that other teachers are using their resources in classrooms across the world and finding them helpful.
With hundreds of new resources being uploaded every day, there’s always going to be something for you to try out and review.
Rating and reviewing also helps other teachers decide if a resource is right for them. It’s a means of peer review which ensures that quality resources are always recognised.
So please take the time to rate and review the resources that you download – as you’ll see from the quotes below, your gratitude goes a long way.
How do I rate and review a resource?
To rate and review a resource you must be logged in with your user name and password. Once you are logged in, select the resource you want to rate and review. Underneath the resource classification you’ll find a box titled ‘Add a review’: just type in your review here. You will also find a ‘Rate’ option here. Once you are done, simply click on ‘save’ to add your review and rating. Please note that you cannot add a review without choosing a rating.
Can I rate and comment on a resource anonymously?
No. We feel it is important that comments and reviews are left by a traceable user. This will result in your comments or reviews being taken more seriously by other users.
