About Agnew School

Agnew School is a registered and accredited Non-State School that operates 4 campuses (Brisbane, Nambour, Toowoomba and Maryborough) in Southeast Queensland for years 3-12, and is an affiliation of OneSchool Global.

OneSchool Global was established to provide a quality learning environment, including the upholding of Christian principles and beliefs as held by the Plymouth Brethren ‎Christian Church community. Facilities 

Facilities include well equipped science laboratories, technical workshops, music rooms, home economics practical areas, computer laboratories, libraries and recreation areas.

Curriculum 

Agnew School follows the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) and Independent School Queensland (ISQ) Curriculum Guidelines – aiming to provide opportunities for students with varied abilities. Generally, students complete their early primary years in a government school, then begin at Agnew in Year 3. Classes are small and mixed, with students regularly assessed and tracked using national literacy and numeracy standards. There is a big focus on new technology with video conferencing used as a regular teaching medium between schools nationally and internationally. Students are also encouraged to take part in a range of sporting activities and excursions.

The school aims to help students develop their full potential, while upholding Christian teachings and beliefs. The Holy Bible and strong family ideals underpin every aspect of education. Students and staff are encouraged to uphold the values of Integrity, compassion, respect, responsibility and commitment.
