We are still growing and are ambitious to be a school at the forefront of impactful teaching and learning.
We are an IB World School for the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. IB World Schools share a common philosophy- a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education- that we believe is important for our students.
Our curriculum is based on the principle that children’s best learning happens when they are engaged and emotionally involved in their education when it is meaningful to them and relates to the world around them. At Amity Amsterdam our students’ educational experiences will be individualised based on their skills, abilities, interests, needs and learning styles. A fundamental part of our curriculum is the opportunity to go out into the real world, to talk to experts and have a ‘hands on’ experience. This enables children to form a personal connection with their education and deepens their understanding, transforming learning into something vivid and real.
Location
Amity International School Amsterdam has been a brilliant experience so far for my daughters. We have moved from the UK and the school has been welcoming and the girls have settled in really well. All teachers and staff are fully engaged in making learning an exciting and engaging experience. The building is great with natural light flooding in which really adds to the modern classroom.
