About Aston Academy

Aston Academy is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Swallowsnest, Sheffield. It is supported by the multi-academy Aston Community Education Trust, which provides specialist staff and expertise for six schools. Larger than the average-sized secondary, Aston Academy provides 1,650 places for students aged 11-18, when fully subscribed.

Aston Community Education Trust was formed in May 2011 when Aston Academy, previously known as Aston Comprehensive School, converted to academy status.
