Values and vision
Campsmount Academy’s vision is to maximise the life-chances of all individuals who attend the school by developing them into effective 21st Century learners. In order to achieve this, staff and governors are dedicated to supporting each individual, and passionate about making a difference. The academy aims to offer every student a clear pathway to success.
The school wants all pupils to feel safe and “at the heart of Campsmount”. It also wants to support them in becoming what it describes as “outstanding citizens”, and help them to understand that through commitment, effort and hard work, anything is possible.
The academy has four core values: Pride, Ambition, Community, and Responsibility. The school believes that its pupils are the best ambassadors for these values, and encourages them to display an enthusiasm for learning, a thirst for knowledge and a genuine sense of community.
“The excellent leadership of the headteacher has led to significant improvements since the last inspection. Senior leaders work effectively as a team with other leaders.”
“The quality of relationships between pupils and adults in the school is impressive. A real sense of working together and purpose exists. Pupils’ behaviour is excellent. The school has high expectations of both behaviour and learning.”
