About Dulwich College Shanghai Minhang
Dulwich College Shanghai Minhang opened in August 2016 for students from Toddlers to Year 7. Drawing on the best practices of both British and international education, the College offers an enhanced version of the English National Curriculum (ENC) up to KS3, suitably adapted to reflect the needs of students in an international setting. All students study compulsory Mandarin Chinese up to the end of KS3. The senior school will grow year on year.
Students in Years 10 to 13 will follow internationally recognised and respected IB curricula that will afford them admission to leading universities worldwide. Like its sister schools, Dulwich College Shanghai Minhang emphasises the development of the whole child. Participation in sports and the arts, alongside a dedication to community service are an integral part of a Dulwich education. Students at DCSM have the opportunity to take part in a number of collaborative group events throught the year, such as the Diversity Project (a series of music workshops and concerts across the schools), the Dulwich Games (a sports tournament for Junior and Senior School students), the Shakespeare Festival, and conferences for students and teachers spanning a variety of topics.
Dulwich College Shanghai Minhang boasts world-class facilities, including an 8-lane, 50 metre Olympic standard swimming pool, a 540 seat theatre, a 3-court gym, a fitness studio, a dance studio, a full-size outdoor football/rugby pitch, a video production suite with green room and two black box theatres.
