About Ewell Castle School

About Ewell Castle School

Ewell Castle School is an independent co-educational day school for children aged 3 to 18 and there are currently approximately 550 students at the School. Founded in 1926, the school, which is situated in Ewell Village, North Surrey, consists of a Nursery and Pre-Preparatory School at Chessington Lodge, a Preparatory School at Glyn House and a Senior School and Sixth Form at The Castle.

Ewell Castle School’s approach to education is one which values a holistic approach and focuses on the whole child.  All pupils enjoy a strong academic, pastoral and extra-curricular and trip programme, which includes The Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.   The family friendly and welcoming independent co-educational school provides its pupils with fantastic facilities, a Mindfulness programme and opportunities for responsibility and challenge, which helps produce confident well-rounded young people, excellently prepared for the 21st century.

Visit this independent co-educational school on one of its open days throughout the year and you will be greeted by happy pupils who are proud to show you around their school.   Ewell Castle School continues its forward trajectory; state-of-the art new music facilities have recently been completed and since September 2017 the School has had its very own Performing Arts Academy, which follows the Trinity College London exams.
