Values and vision
Grove School wants to provide all students with a high quality education where they can develop as confident, resilient, creative and respectful individuals. The secondary school wants students to feel encouraged to achieve their full potential, aiming towards their goals and ambitions, succeeding in everything they put their minds to. Community is at the heart of the school and as the only school in the area, Grove School works to ensure that teachers, pupils and children work together to maintain a high standard of education and supportive environment. The secondary school nurtures students to be socially, morally, spiritually and culturally aware, following the values of trust, determination, positivity, resilience, self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, honesty, openness and social responsibility.
“Students feel very safe in school, and the parents who responded to the Ofsted online questionnaire agree. The students that spoke with inspectors reported that the large school site is well supervised. They say that incidents of bullying are rare, and that staff deal with them effectively when they arise.”
