About Hampton Court House
Hampton Court House is a co-educational independent school situated in beautiful riverside parkland between Richmond and Hampton in southwest London. The school is close to Hampton Court station, which is 35 minutes from Waterloo and 20 minutes from Wimbledon by train. There are also frequent buses to and from Kingston, or for staff who drive, there is on-site parking.
The school has an international outlook and values diversity. We seek to create and enhance connection with other countries to ensure that our students grow up to feel citizens of a global community. Hampton Court House is a UNESCO Associated School; we have a diverse and cosmopolitan staff body and actively seek teachers from a wide range of different backgrounds including from careers outside education. We welcome applications from both overseas and the UK.
Our Sixth Form opened in September 2015 and we are now an all-through school with pupils aged 3 to 18. A generous fee reduction is available on tuition fees for the children of all members of staff. There is also an on-site day care centre for parents of younger children which has been set up specifically for the children of the staff body.
The school actively promotes professional and personal development. Staff go onto positions of leadership internally or elsewhere and the school has a history of adapting its leadership structure to make best use of the strengths of its team.
All staff are very much encouraged to get involved with the school’s wide range of co-curricular activities including weekly clubs, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and trips both in the UK and abroad. Recent trips include a visit to CERN in Switzerland, a trip to Loches in France, camping in the Surrey Hills and a ski trip to the Alps.
