About Hunter Valley Grammar School

Hunter Valley Grammar School is a vibrant non-selective, non-denominational, independent day school, for boys and girls from Preschool - Year 12. Located in the beautiful Hunter Valley, New South Wales we strive for academic excellence within a caring and values-laden learning environment.

The overall Preschool to Year 12 nature of our School has resulted in a warm, family-style atmosphere, and provides a smooth transition between infants, primary and high school.  We are a World School, delivering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), and a Candidate School for the Middle Years Programme (MYP). Our aim is to be an IB World School in four programmes, as we plan to add the Diploma and Career Programmes.
