Why Southwark College?
Most of our learners achieve their qualification aim. The thriving and vibrant community feel at Southwark College makes it a great place to work. With students from all walks of life, there is something there for every one. The College ensures that support is available for students throughout their studies, via individual Tutorial support, Student Advice centres and the Inclusive Learning Department.
Location! Location! Location!
We are one of the most easily accessible colleges in London. The College has three main sites in south and central London and has the benefits of excellent transport links, with local rail and nearby underground stations.
Travelling between our campuses could not be easier, especially between the main centres, Waterloo and Bermondsey, which are just two stops away from each other on the Jubilee line.
• Opposite Southwark Station and less than 10 minutes walk from Waterloo station, the Waterloo Centre is ideally situated close to the River Thames and the South Bank, a vibrant area hosting many of London’s best sights, museums, restaurants and galleries.
• The Bermondsey Centre is located in the up and coming area of Bermondsey, and just 2 minutes walk from Bermondsey station on the Jubilee line.
• The Camberwell Centre is situated close to Peckham, a very vibrant, ‘real London ‘hustle and bustle’ place.
