Meadowhead School Academy Trust is a popular and successful school with an excellent academic and pastoral reputation and very high standards of behaviour. This was recognised in our very good Ofsted inspection in October 2014.
- We have high expectations of ourselves and our students and welcome colleagues who share our commitment to continuous improvement.
- The school became an elective Academy in August 2012 and gained full Sixth Form status in September 2013.
- Our Sixth Form provision currently delivers a full A level programme to over 260 students and we have recently opened our new Sixth Form Centre (October 2017).

Values and vision
It is our intention to create and maintain the kind of atmosphere in which young people will feel secure enough to develop their abilities, happy enough to take on new challenges and sufficiently stimulated to achieve their full potential.
Our students are provided with a fantastic learning environment and state-of-the-art facilities. We are committed to "Learning and Achieving Together" and we place a high premium on integrity and courtesy alongside high achieving academic success. We encourage students to be actively aware of the world around them through the curriculum and extra curricular opportunities – the school specialises in the teaching of languages and has an outstanding track record with many national and international links and partnerships.
Continuing Professional Development
We have a strong programme of CPD for all staff and we use the Blue Sky online performance management system.
