New College Bradford, which opened in September 2019, is a 16-19 free school with approximately 1500 students. In its recent Ofsted inspection (September 2023), New College Bradford was graded as Outstanding in all areas.

We believe that students at New College Bradford should enjoy high-quality teaching and learning underpinned by a culture of high expectations, challenge and support, both for students and staff, which will enable young people in Bradford to secure high-quality qualifications to support them into employment, training and higher education.

The team pride themselves on being at the cutting-edge of teaching and learning, with an unwavering desire to make a real difference in improving the life chances of the young people of Bradford. New College Bradford delivers A Levels alongside a large number of Level 3 Applied General qualifications.

New College Bradford sits within the New Collaborative Learning Trust (NCLT), a multi-academy Trust which currently comprises of three 16-19 Colleges, three primary schools and one 11-16 Academy. NCLT was awarded ‘Employer of the Year’ in the 2023 MAT Excellence Awards and is recognised as a Leader in Diversity and a Disability Confident Employer.
