About Our Lady's Catholic High School
Our Lady’s Catholic High School is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school without sixth form situated in Fulwood, Preston. It is a voluntary aided state school operating under the Diocese of Lancaster and is the lead-school of The Catholic Teaching Alliance, an association of more than 50 Catholic schools, mostly within its Diocese. An average-sized school, it will provide 900 places to pupils aged 11-16 when fully subscribed.
Our Lady’s was founded in 1988 as the result of an amalgamation of St Edmund Campion in Lead, which was founded in 1977, and St Cuthbert Mayne, which opened in 1963 and occupied the current site of the school. In 2004, Our Lady's became a mathematics and computing specialist school; in 2014, it was awarded the status of teaching school.

Our Lady’s sees itself primarily as a Catholic school, following the principles of the Gospel and presenting itself as a faith community. The school's core values are to support children while they develop their faith; to help them work and learn; to respect them as individuals; and to allow them to feel part of a safe environment.
