About Premiere Academy
Located in the Nigerian city of Abuja, Premiere Academy is a co-educational international independent boarding school. First established in 2005, the school is able to boast of a wide range of modern teaching and recreational facilities on its large modern campus in the city’s suburbs, these include extensive ICT facilities which support a core part of the school curriculum, various music and creative arts areas, sports facilities, and a number of practical workshops. Admission to the school is obtained via a formal interview with a senior staff member, as well as an entrance examination. The school provides for pupils up to age 18, working hard to prepare them for entrance into a number of international universities. As a boarding school, Premiere Academy also strives to foster a strong sense of community among its pupils, in order to best further their personal development and emotional and social intelligence. The curriculum at Premiere academy is a combined British-Nigerian one, with numerous elements of the British curriculum, such as the iGCSE qualification, combined with a Nigerian-specific subject focus.
