About Rawmarsh Community School
Rawmarsh Community School is a mixed 11-16 secondary school based in Rotherham, offering a purposeful and ambitious learning environment to students. As a member of Wickersley Partnership Trust, our school shares the Trust’s long-term vision of sending all young people into an ever-changing world able and qualified to play their full part in it.
At the heart of our ethos is “The Rawmarsh Way” - a set of core values that promotes independence, responsibility, resilience and aspiration, creating a high-challenge, low-fear culture where students and staff are encouraged to think deeply, take risks and continually improve.
Teaching and learning at Rawmarsh is grounded in a broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum aligned to the National Curriculum and enhanced through collaboration across the Trust. The curriculum is enriched by opportunities such as extra-curricular clubs, pastoral development and the Rawmarsh Pledges, giving students a range of experiences that build confidence and broader life skills.
For staff, we offer a supportive and collaborative professional environment where ongoing development and shared practice are valued. Through the Trust’s focus on professional growth, curriculum collaboration and wellbeing, colleagues have the chance to contribute to school improvement, expand their skills and make a real difference in young people’s lives.
