About Rushmoor School
Rushmoor School is a mixed, Christian, all-through independent school in Bedfordshire, serving students from the age of 2-18. The all-through school, situated in Bedford has approximately 370 students on record. The school is co-educational from the age of 2-11. From the age of 12, only boys attend. It is in federation with St Andrew’s School, also in Bedford, and shares the same Principal.
Rushmoor School was established in 1910 in London. It moved from London to Bedford in 1918 and has been on its current site since.

Rushmoor School wants to provide all students with an outstanding education and works to be a caring and welcoming learning environment. The school wants all students to fulfil their potential and achieve to the highest of their standards. It focuses on children as individuals and works to ensure that their specific learning requirements are met and that their skills and talents are discovered. Staff nurture students so that they grow in confidence and self-esteem to find their own identity in the school community and leave as honest, responsible young people, who will in turn make a positive contribution to society.
