It is based in the town of Kingswinford, West Midlands, in Dudley. At present, the Crestwood School has around 645 students being educated at the establishment.

Crestwood School and Sixth Form exists to provide an unrivalled learning environment for the young people in our local and wider community. Through our teaching and pastoral care we aim to develop independent young people with a thirst for learning. We encourage students to strive to make more progress than is expected of them. We encourage students to strive to achieve more than is expected of them. Our students know, if they do so, they will achieve more success than is expected of them.

The Crestwood School aims to help every student to develop into independent adults. The curriculum is stimulating and enriches the children’s minds. Students who have respect and tolerance for others are valued by the academy. The school’s motto is “anything is possible”. By working hard, the students should be able to achieve excellent results with the support from the teachers.

What people say about us

“The achievement of students is good and continuing to improve because senior leaders have taken decisive action to improve teaching. Attainment in English and mathematics has risen steadily and the standards of students currently in the school are now above average in both subjects. The good achievement of students entitled to pupil premium funding means they attain standards close to those of other students in the school. Most teaching is now good. n Students’ behaviour in lessons is good and they are keen to make good progress. Students’ attendance has improved and is now above average. Rates of persistent absence have fallen quickly. The school provides a very safe environment for students. Teachers’ good relationships with students’ ensure students’ respond well to their high expectations.”
