Troup House School

Troup House School is a specialist day and residential school that has a strong reputation and proven track record for providing a high standard of education and care to young people between the ages of 8 to 16+ years with additional support needs including social, emotional and mental health difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions and challenging behaviour. Our young people may also experience di­fficulties with learning as a result of the effects of trauma, disrupted educational experiences and multiple residential placements.

Our school is located in a beautiful rural setting near Banff, Aberdeenshire, and is situated within 42 acres of woodlands which enables us to provide unique learning experiences in a safe, positive and nurturing environment. Our naturally therapeutic environment provides the ideal physical surroundings for young people to access compensatory experiences and alternative learning opportunities which form part of their Individual education and care plans.
