About Vision West Nottinghamshire College
Vision West Nottinghamshire College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in Nottinghamshire serving students from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 1,200 full and part-time students attending every year. The college has six sites based in Ashfield and Mansfield.
Vision West Nottinghamshire College was established as a Technical College in 1928. It was renamed Vision West Nottinghamshire College in 2011. Facilities across the campuses include an engineering innovation centre, art and design centre, sports hall, a hair and beauty training salon and a training restaurant for catering and hospitality students to train in.

Vision West Nottinghamshire College’s vision is to be “A dynamic college for aspiring communities.” The college wants all students to receive a personalised, high quality education where their skills and confidence is developed to allow for them to succeed to the best of their capability. Students are nurtured to respect differences and become responsible young adults who adopt a professional and mature attitude to their work. The college’s motto is “Attaining excellence, reaching new heights,” and has won a number of awards over the years, including a Beacon status and a gold award in the Green Impact Students’ Union Awards.
