About Wolfreton School and Sixth Form College
We are a large, vibrant, ‘Good’ school, (Ofsted 2013), serving the Haltemprice area of the East Riding of Yorkshire. We value high standards and aspirations and aim to support students in achieving their best in academic, sporting, linguistic and artistic interests. The Sixth Form is a large and successful institution and is an integral part of the school.
We are fortunate in having an excellent team of staff, both teaching and support, and a great amount of time is given for extra-curricular activities. These activities support our strong pastoral system which further develops our core values of excellence, endeavour and respect. Our pastoral care is one of our recognised strengths and we work hard to ensure that each individual is known and matters. Tutor groups are guided through their school year by their Form Tutor, and these tutor groups work together in one of our five school Houses: Nightingale, Owen, Rowntree, Tomlinson and Wilberforce. All students benefit from the support of their own Pastoral Manager and Head of House.
