Post: Pensions Coordinator

Location: Plymouth Based (hybrid delivery model of home and site based according to business requirements)

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade E £25,878 rising to a maximum of £28,371 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)

Actual Annual Salary Range: £13,801.60 - £15,131.20 per annum

Hours/Contract: Permanent. Part Time, 20 hrs per week worked flexibly across the week.

Weeks per Year: 52.14 working weeks per year

Role Profile

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our rapidly developing Multi Academy Trust for a talented Pensions Coordinator to join our team.

Are you a strong administrator with a head for numbers, with tenacity, excellent investigative skills, and the ability to work on your own with minimal supervision?

Are you committed to joining a passionate team, that is dedicated to its 900 employees and collaborative in nature with experience of handling a wide range of queries?

Our Payroll & Pensions Team is responsible for delivering a quality, responsive and professional service to the Trust within a busy and at times pressurised working environment. 

As the Pensions Coordinator, you will report to the Payroll & Pensions Manager and support the People Team by handling the day-to-day queries and general administration.

About you

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a busy team within an organisation of more than 900 employees and will have the ability to build effective working relationships and a willingness to collaborate.

You will be someone who feels an affinity with our values and our vision seeking a core purpose of delivering for our students and communities. Other skills, knowledge and experience we look for include:

Someone who is customer focused, understanding how to set and exceed expectations in relation a range of queries and data entry.

Have demonstrable experience in resolving problems, accuracy in data entry with a good attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with and build effective relationships using both written and verbal communication you will be able to support a range of queries from staff.

Previous experience of working within Education would be advantageous however it is not essential to be successful in this role; experience of working within a busy team (at volume) is essential.
