0.2 PPA Cover

I am currently looking for part time staff to cover a 0.2 position in south Derby. The role is at an established primary school in the area and is covering both PPA and a year 3/4 mixed class. The school have asked for a self-motivated and passionate teacher, with good knowledge of the general curriculum, lesson plans will be provided, however they want more than someone who will just hand the work out, they need someone who will deliver the set lesson with some meaning. 

The school itself has been awarded ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted and has very high attendance ratings, the school are very proud of these accomplishments and wish any member of staff to drive towards the upkeep of these achievements. The role is available until the end of the academic year, and is likely to be continued into the next year starting again in September. The school will provide a parking space and all the materials and lesson plans for the candidate, while also allowing for some creative freedom in how the lesson is delivered.

Overall the job would be ideally suited for someone looking to compliment part time work they already have, or to gain some more steady work if they were on supply elsewhere. The school are willing to be quite adaptable in terms of having different days for the PPA cover in the week, to suit the candidate, so long as the candidate is an effective teacher.
